ATLANTA — A downtown Atlanta street was closed Monday morning due to a suspicious device on a Greyhound bus.

Atlanta police said something that looks like a hand grenade fell out of a box.

Forsyth Street was closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic until around 6:30 a.m.

Channel 2's Liz Artz said the scene was cleared when officers determined the grenade was a hollowed out desk ornament.
