ATLANTA — There is a new helping hand for Georgia families in need.
SNAP users can now get their groceries online.
Georgia is one of 42 states where people can now use EBT cards for groceries through the SNAP Online Purchasing Pilot program.
The news comes as a relief to families who may be afraid to shop in stores due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Right now, in Georgia, shoppers can got to Amazon or Walmart to order foot that meets regular EBT guidelines.
