Georgia Lottery players in Brunswick and Douglasville won major Powerball prizes totaling $1.25 million in the Sept. 23 drawing. A ticket sold in Brunswick scored $1 million by matching all five white balls, while a Douglasville ticket won $250,000 by matching four white balls plus the Powerball with Powerplay.

The winning numbers for the Sept. 23 Powerball drawing were 05-15-26-29-30, with red Powerball 14. Proceeds from Powerball and all Georgia Lottery games support education programs across the state.
The $1 million Powerball ticket matching all five white-ball numbers was sold at Vansh Corner, located at 310 Old Jesup Road in Brunswick. The $250,000 ticket, which matched four of the five white-ball numbers along with the Powerball and included the Powerplay option, was purchased at the QuikTrip at 2786 Chapel Hill Road in Douglasville. In the Sept. 23 Fantasy 5 drawing, two players hit the jackpot to win $165,301 each. Both winning tickets were purchased online through the Georgia Lottery website by residents of Warner Robins and Atlanta. The winning numbers for that drawing were 03-10-15-23-32.A top prize of $10,000 was claimed in the Sept. 23 evening Georgia FIVE drawing. That ticket was purchased at Rex Food Mart, located at 6539 Highway 42 in Rex.

One winning ticket from the Sept. 23 drawing was purchased at Smoke Shop & Beverage at 13311 North Highway 27 in Chickamauga. Two tickets matching four white-ball numbers and the Millionaire Ball in the Sept. 24 drawing were sold at QuikTrip at 3590 Canton Highway in Cumming and Little Joe’s one Stop Pantry at 306 6th Street in Columbus.
The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, with an estimated jackpot of $360 million.
