SAVANNAH — The University of Georgia is already making moves for its football program many years in advance.
Elijah Griffin, an 8th grader from Savannah Christian Prep School, posted on Instagram that he received an offer from UGA.
Griffin is not your ordinary teenager. He stands 6 foot 5 inches tall and weighs around 275 pounds.
The scholarship offer was confirmed by Savannah Christian head coach Baker Woodward Tuesday evening, according to WJCL-TV.
The defensive lineman will graduate high school in 2025.
