SOCIAL CIRCLE, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called to investigate two deaths in Social Circle. GBI agents are assisting Social Circle police with the investigation.
The GBI said two bodies were found Friday at Thurman Baccus Road. Social Circle officers found a man and woman with apparent gunshot wounds.
The victims have been identified as James Robert Evans, 27, and Jaymine Whitlock, 32.
No other information is available at this time but the GBI said this is an active and ongoing investigation.
