ATLANTA — Drivers may continue to see gas prices decline at the pump with the state average down to $3.65 per gallon for regular gasoline.
However, elevated crude oil prices continue to put upward pressure on fuel costs, limiting the savings drivers may see at the pump.

The price reduction is supported by the suspension of the state gas tax, the transition to lower-cost winter-blend gasoline and reduced seasonal travel demand. However, crude oil prices remaining above $100 per barrel continue to maintain upward pressure on overall fuel costs.
For drivers filling a standard 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline, the total cost comes to approximately $54.75.
Montrae Waiters, spokeswoman for AAA, noted that drivers can take active steps to manage their spending.
“Georgians are seeing some relief at the pump, with prices averaging 63 cents below the national average,” Waiters said. “While seasonal factors are helping push prices lower, drivers can save even more by comparing prices, using fuel rewards and combining errands.”
