DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Loved ones said goodbye to a 15-year-old girl killed in a drunken driving wreck this week.
DeKalb police said Corliss Johnson's father was drunk driving when he wrecked the family's car with four children inside.
Channel 2's Sophia Choi is in northeast Atlanta, where a bishop spoke to Channel 2 Action News on behalf of the grieving family.
"She was a bright light here. Corliss was very straight forward. She was extremely funny," said Bishop Flynn Johnson, who eulogized the teen at the Atlanta Metropolitan Cathedral, the church where she grew up.
The funeral comes just days after Corliss' father Anthony Johnson bonded out of DeKalb County jail.
Police said he crashed his car into woods off Highway 78 in Stone Mountain last Sunday.
Johnson then left Corliss and his other daughter, Joy, to walk to a restaurant with his two sons.
Surveillance video shows them arriving at the restaurant to report the crash.

According to a 911 recording, Johnson told an operator both of his girls had died, although it turns out that his 11-year-old daughter Joy survived with major head injuries.
A police report indicates that Johnson admitted he drank a pint of liquor and 12 ounces of beer before the crash.
The arresting officer also noted Johnson had a "strong" odor of alcohol and slurred speech.
Johnson faces several charges including vehicular homicide and DUI.
Meanwhile, the family plans to stay strong, despite their tragic loss.
"In the midst of this pain, their church family embraces them," Bishop Johnson said. "They have decided no matter what happens, they are going to stay together as a family."
