FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A lost pup is back with her dad after going missing thanks to a microchip -- and the adorable photos say it all.
Fulton County Animal Services posted sweet photos Friday of the moments a man was reunited with his dog after she ran off.
According to FCAS, Joshua just moved to Atlanta from San Diego. Earlier this week, his dog Isabella took off “on a self-guided tour of her new city, much to her dad’s panic!”

Isabella was turned in to the shelter by a member of the community and two days later, they were able to reunite her with her daddy.
Photos show Joshua’s thrilled reaction to seeing his dog again and her smile from ear to ear.
“Isabella is back safely with her dad and is a prime example of why microchipping your beloved pet is so important!” the shelter wrote.
The shelter added that Joshua wore his mask inside the shelter, but took it off for photos so people could see how happy he was to have his beloved companion back.
