FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A man crashed his SUV into a restaurant, according to police.

"I saw this car come through the window,” witness Randy Smith said.

"It was kind of awesome,” Smith said. “I was just hoping that nobody got hurt."

"I called 911 right away and the police and everybody that came out here pretty quickly,” Schexnayder said.

Two men and one woman were injured. They had been sitting near the window.

East Point police say they aren't certain if the driver was impaired or if he accidentally sped into the restaurant.

"It would seem that maybe instead of hitting the brake he hit the gas, but I’m can't really speak to that to any certainty,” Schexnayder said.

The victims received minor injuries.

Police tell Channel 2's Carl Willis the driver was cited for reckless driving.
