MACON — A recently-resigned Georgia Bureau of Investigations agent has been charged with multiple counts of child molestation.
Charles Woodall, 34, resigned from his position on Oct. 7 after a criminal investigation was launched by the GBI and Bibb County District Attorney's Office.
Woodall was charged with nine counts of child molestation, six counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes, one count of electronically furnishing obscene material to minors, and one count of violation of oath of office.
Woodall was arrested at his family's home in Knoxville, Tennessee by Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Agents and GBI Agents.
Woodall was booked into the Knox County Jail where he is awaiting extradition to Georgia.
