A flash flood warning was issued for two north Georgia counties Wednesday.

Severe Weather 2 Chief Meteorologist Brad Nitz is covering the latest forecast on Channel 2 Action News starting at 4 p.m.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City issued a flash flood warning for northwestern Gilmer County and east central Murray County in northwestern Georgia until 7 p.m.
The warning was issued after radar indicated thunderstorms were producing heavy rain across the warned area.
People in the area should watch for flooded roads, as well as flooding from smaller streams and creeks.
Elsewhere, in a 4 p.m. report from Polk County, a tree was reported down on Clemons Drive at Ridgewood Drive.
