BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. — People are celebrating free food with Georgia’s newest Chick-fil-A restaurant opening Thursday.
The restaurant in Bartow County opened at 6 a.m.
People camped out overnight and played cards to pass the time.
Every time the chain opens a new restaurant, it gives the first 100 adults free meals once a week for a year.
"When we get there it's almost like a family reunion. You meet other people you met at Chick-fil-A's and uh, it's fun!" said Greg O'Donnell. "Last time I had to buy a meal has probably been nine years.
O'Donnell said he's traveled as far away as Oklahoma to get free Chick-fil-A.
