FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga. — Tyrone police are looking for a person they say left guns, drugs and cash in a homeowner’s trash can.
Channel 2's Tom Jones spoke to Ricky Long, the homeowner who made the discovery.
He says he was going to take his trash to the corner when he noticed a strange bag in his trash can Thursday.
When he opened it, he found another loaded gun, drugs, digital scales, bullets, and baggies.
“It was partially unzipped and looked like it had a pistol in it,” he explained.
He quickly called police.

Police are baffled by the discovery. Detectives have a theory about why the drugs and weapons were dumped there.
“We're suspecting that it's possibly a drop either for someone to come pick it up later on that day or for the actual person that picked up the trash,” said Andrea Johnson-McCoy, a detective with the Tyrone Police Department.
The department posted a photo of the items on Facebook asking, sort of tongue in cheek, if you'd like to claim your items to contact police.
"Obviously I don't believe anyone would come back to claim the marijuana however someone could come back and claim the weapons," Johnson-McCoy said.
