Family’s frantic 911 calls reveal search for missing mother before murder arrest

Police believe 18-year-old Kingston Bradley killed Mosely sometime between 10 a.m. and noon that day.

Hours later, at 6:57 p.m., Mosely’s mother called Smyrna police after relatives tracked Mosely’s phone to the Park Valley Apartments and found her car.

“My daughter, she’s been missing since 9… 8 o’clock, I mean 9 something this morning and we’ve been looking for her,” Mosely’s mother told a dispatcher. “The last time I talked to her was at 9 when I left out the door,” she said.

Mosely’s mother told the dispatcher the silence was completely out of character.

“We talk to each other every day, like we have a family group chat,” she said. “We have not heard from her all day. Like, this not like her, at all.”

During the call, the dispatcher told Mosely’s mother she could not file a missing person’s report with Smyrna police because Mosely lived in Atlanta.

The dispatcher did, however, tell the family an officer could meet them at the apartment complex because that was where Mosely’s phone was pinging.

“Since y’all are here and that’s where her phone is pinging at, then we can have one of our officers to come and meet with you,” the dispatcher said.

“6:57 p.m. was the first call advising that the victims phone and the vehicle were over there,” said Smyrna Police PIO Lt. Meredith Holt. “I know our officers stayed for about 30 minutes. We were called back again at about 30 minutes after we left witnesses saw the person of interest come out.”

A little more than an hour after the first call, the family called 911 again.

This time, they had discovered something disturbing near Bradley’s apartment.

“I called earlier about my niece being missing,” Mosely’s aunt told the dispatcher.

The family was so distraught that a neighbor took over the call.

“I see a… I see a bin. I think there’s a body in it,” the neighbor said.

Police later said investigators found additional remains Friday evening inside the trunk of a vehicle, but won’t they won’t say who owns the vehicle.

“We just want justice and we want the truth,” Mosely’s aunt, Michelle Weaver, said.

Police say they found a bloody saw and blood stains inside Bradley’s apartment and smelled what they believed was bleach.

Bradley is charged with malice murder and concealing the death of another.

Records show Bradley and his father were arrested earlier this year following a fight with each other.

Between 2024 to 2026, we found more than 50 police calls connected to the apartment they shared, many involved domestic-related incidents. Four of the calls involved reports of someone armed with a weapon.

A neighbor who did not want to be identified on television said she had seen Bradley around the complex before and said he made her uncomfortable.

“I’ve seen him around before and I’ve always gotten a bad little vibe from him,” she said.

The neighbor also alleged Bradley once threatened her 13-year-old child with a pit bull.

“Basically, he kind of like threatened her with the pit bull, and she’s like 13,” she said.

Bradley’s attorney released the following statement about the murder investigation:

“Our representation of Kingston and investigation into this case is in it’s infancy and we will not be commenting on the specific facts or any details of the case at this time.

Kingston is entitled to fair and due process at every step and we will address this case in court. We urge the public to refrain from speculation or conclusions based on the incomplete information circulating on the internet,” Paul Arena-Camarillo, Esq.
