PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — A Paulding County family is still waiting for answers after his daughter and her boyfriend were killed in a wreck in June.

"We were on our way to see our mom and boom it happened so fast," said Josh Priester, 16, who still needs to use crutches to walk following the wreck.

Josh was in the back seat when a car broadsided the car his sister was driving on Highway 61 near Paulding County High School June 17.

The crash killed his sister, Janeal Priester, 18, and her boyfriend, Nick Wright, 17.

"I just want them to know please help us to find justice," Josh Priester told Channel 2's Matt Belanger.

The Georgia State Patrol initially said Janeal was at fault because she turned into oncoming traffic.

But a witness told Channel 2 Action News she saw two cars driving erratically, speeding up and slowing down before one of them crashed into the teens' car.

Officially, the crash remains under investigation.

"October 20 is her birthday. She would have been 19 years old," father Keith Priester told Belanger.

Keith Priester said he wants to know whether anyone will be charged.

"It should not be taking this long and we would like to know why; we would like answers, now," Keith Priester said.

Belanger also spoke with Nick Wright's father on the phone Wednesday night, who said his family feels the same way.

The GSP told Belanger Wednesday night that investigators just received the results of a specialized crash reconstruction report and the case is still open.

Investigators would not comment further.

"What's right is right and wrong is wrong and that's what we want point blank," Keith Priester said.
