Falcons ask fans to wear red for first stadium-wide Red Out

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Falcons are calling on fans to wear red and help create a stadium-wide “Red Out” when the team faces the Baltimore Ravens Sunday night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The team announced that the Red Out will be the first of its kind at the stadium and is encouraging fans to arrive early for a full night of events. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m.

The Red Out coincides with the return of the Falcons’ red uniforms in the team’s first season back in red. Sunday also is when John Abraham will be inducted as the 15th member of the Falcons Ring of Honor.

Other gameday festivities include a Dirty Birds Nest tailgate at the Founders Green starting at 4:30 p.m. followed by a fan march to the stadium at 7 p.m.

Before kickoff, Freddie Falcon will perform a highline stunt, and fans are asked to be in their seats by 8 p.m.

Fans can also find limited food items, including the #55 Abraham Loaded Tots at Molly B’s on the 100 level and a $20 board at Molly B’s in Section 339.

The loaded tots feature tater tots with pulled pork, Carolina BBQ sauce, smoked cheddar, pickled jalapenos and scallions.

The $20 board includes a hot dog, popcorn, pretzel, pizza, nachos, chicken tenders and fries basket and a refillable Coca-Cola cup. It’s all part of the stadium’s fan-friendly concession stand prices.
