ATLANTA — Emergency 911 services in Atlanta are experiencing technical difficulties, according to an advisory.

Officials said the issue is affecting the ability to receive and dispatch emergency calls.
Anyone experiencing an emergency or needing immediate assistance is being advised to go to the nearest hospital, police precinct or fire station for help.

Officials said teams are working to resolve the issue and restore full E911 service.
Residents are encouraged to monitor the agency’s website for updates.
Atlanta 911 calls are currently being handled by Atlanta E-911 personnel at the Fulton County Emergency Communications Center.
