ATLANTA — This week, Channel 2 Action News is honoring the life and legacy of former WSB-TV anchor Jovita Moore. Wednesday will mark five years since Jovita died after her battle with brain cancer.
Dress for Success was one of the nonprofits Jovita was passionate about. Channel 2’s Fred Blankenship shares they are now serving all of Georgia with the new “Sprint-Her.”

The new van brings Dress for Success services to all of Georgia. The organization gets women ready to earn a livable wage.
“We’ve begun offering services in Columbus, and we have a plan to take them to multiple cities over the next two plus years to really serve people outside of metro Atlanta,” said Susan Bonds-McCulloch, president of Dress for Success Georgia.
Brunessa Drayton gave Channel 2 a tour of the bus. There’s a closet with clothes for ladies to choose from
“And we have a desk here where we’re able to meet with our clients when we’re on the road and have a conversation with them,” Drayton said.
“We want to serve the total woman, the whole woman, from her wellness, to prepare her for not only a job, but a career,” Drayton added.
Bonds-McCulloch says they’re delivering more than clothes. They’re delivering job readiness to women everywhere.
“We want to be places where women who need our services can access it very easily. And they can honestly get every service in our van that they can get at the office,” Bonds-McCulloch said.
“It has generational impact and it doesn’t only help the women that we serve. It helps their children, their families, but also this great community that we live in,” she added.
