FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. — From a distance, it may have looked like nothing, but the closer you look, the more you realize that a deer found in Fayetteville a couple of days ago was really in distress.

An area resident saw the doe and was able to see that she had somehow managed to get into an empty Gatorade bottle which stuck to her nose. Thankfully, the bottle was only stuck on the top part of her snout and the doe was able to still eat and drink.

The department’s Urban Wildlife Program sent staff to the area once the doe was spotted again. They were able to determine the bottle had split had begun cutting into her snout.
