For nearly two decades, Walt Disney World has selected 100 high school students from across the country each year for Disney Dreamers Academy. The first class in the expanded program will include 200 students selected by participating Boys & Girls Clubs.
It’s also expanding in Houston, Miami and Orlando. The company said it picked the four metro areas based on its existing presence and relationships with families and organizations in those communities.
“I’ve seen firsthand the confidence, connections and opportunities Disney Dreamers Academy has provided students over the past 19 years,” Sivonne Davis, vice president of marketing strategy, said.
Walt Disney World said it will announce that class in October and start programming in January 2027.

As part of the program, students will take part in virtual and in person activities focused on personal and academic growth, including hands on experiences, workshops and interactive programming led by Disney Cast Members and experts.
Walt Disney World said it will invest across participating Boys & Girls Clubs during the program’s first two years, covering the current school year and the 2027-28 school year.
The company said it will share more details about the program in the coming months.
