DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County police have arrested a man they saw is responsible for the murder of two men at a gas station in Stone Mountain nearly three months ago.
Hakeem Ross, 29, is being charged with the murders of Jamitre Weaver and Gerico Floyd.

Police say Ross and Weaver were arguing at the Citgo at the intersection of Redan Road and Panola Road on April 8 when shots rang out.
Weaver was pronounced dead on the scene. Floyd was taken to Hillandale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police also hauled away a Hummer parked at the gas pumps they believe belonged to one of the men.
Ross was arrested at a home in Powder Springs and charged with two counts of malice murder. He is being held in the DeKalb County Jail without bond.
