DUNWOODY, Ga. — A Decatur man faces charges of taking lewd pictures and videos of women and children inside a local department store.

Dunwoody police arrested 33-year-old Patrick Bailey May 28 after they said surveillance video inside Macy’s at Perimeter Mall captured him taking the pictures in public places and inside some dressing rooms.

Bailey is facing felony peeping Tom charges.

Macy’s condemned the incident in a statement sent to Channel 2 Action News:

“We at Macy’s take the comfort and security of our customers very seriously and take quick action whenever we see or hear about an incident. In particular, we do not tolerate any illegal activity. Further details should come from the police department.”

Shoppers at the mall told Channel 2's Mike Petchenik that the incidents worried them.

“There are people out there like this, unfortunately. We just have to be on the lookout and just make sure we’re aware of our surroundings,” one woman said.

Another shopper, who is also a mother, told Petchenik that she would feel very uncomfortable if something like that happened to her.

“It would make me not want to come shop here anymore because that’s a violation of privacy,” Brenda Guzman said.
