DeKalb County firefighters said they were called to the home around 2:30 a.m. for a reported house fire. When Engine Company 4 arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames in the back of the house.
Investigators said it took over 30 firefighters to knock down the flames and get the situation under control. They said both people living at the home were able to get out of the house before firefighters arrived and were not injured.
