DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Detectives are looking for multiple suspects that were involved in a Stone Mountain bank robbery Tuesday morning.

DeKalb County authorities said the robbery happened at the PNC Bank behind a Quick Trip station off Rockbridge Road.

DeKalb County police spokeswoman Mekka Parrish said detectives are looking for two men, who were wearing hooded sweatshirts or jackets. Both had their faces covered when they walked into the bank at about 11 a.m. and demanded money. One of the robbers was armed and fired a shot at the ceiling, Parrish said.

Detectives spent the afternoon interviewing witnesses at the bank to locate the robbers.

A  woman who lives in a nearby subdivision on Crestwood Court called 911 just minutes before the robbery to report seeing two strange men wearing masks.

There were no reported injuries during the robbery.
