ATLANTA — The widespread rain that moved across north Georgia has moved out, but scattered showers remain across the area.
There is a slight risk for isolated severe storms though about 9, 10 p.m.
"That's all going to come to an end as we move through the night tonight," said Severe Weather Team 2's Brad Nitz.
The cloud cover will continue to breakup throughout the evening and into the early morning to start Friday on the dry side.

The Friday is expected to remain dry and there will be a little breeze throughout the day.
The forecast high is 66, and pollen is up.
The count increased from 265 particles per cubic meter of air Wednesday to 631 Thursday, according to Atlanta Allergy and Asthma.
While in the high range, those totals fall short of the current season high of 5,353, last year’s season high of 3,559 and the 2016 season high of 4,106.
