The fire and rescue department responded to Yellow River Park around 8:30 p.m. When they arrived, crews found four people trapped on a rock about 15-30 feet from the river bank.
Firefighters threw a rescue bag toward the four victims and used rope to send floats out to them.

The department said the recent rainfall made the rescue difficult as the water levels kept rising.
The victims put on the life vests and were guided one-by-one from the rocks to the shore. No one was injured.
