DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Fire investigators are looking at arson as one possible cause for a fire that destroyed a building in DeKalb County.
It happened at the Hidden Hills neighborhood on Biffle Road Sunday afternoon.
Residents said the golf course clubhouse had been shut down for a number of years and was a source of concern.
"So now we have to deal with a clubhouse that is gone," Roderick Frierson with the Hidden Hills Civic Association said. "We want to ensure that out of the ashes something is rebuilt that will benefit the community."
Fire officials said there was no power to the building and weather was not a factor.
