CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Someone passing by saw flames shooting from the side of the TitleMax around 8 p.m. and called 911.
Firefighters say the fire started in the warehouse section of the building where they keep everything customers have pawned, from furniture to firearms.
Firefighters first tried to get inside, but it was just too dangerous.
The roof of the building partially collapsed, which is making it difficult to get water to the center of the building that is still burning.
Crews closed the eastbound lanes of Mt. Zion Road due to the fire fight.
"Like wow. I haven't seen a flame or fire up close in a long time," said witness Wren Mac.
Once firefighter can get the fire completely out and get inside, they'll start working to investigate how it started.
