Crews work to clean DeKalb school after suspected arson

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Crews are working to clean up a DeKalb County school that someone set on fire.
 
The restoration crew is working around the clock to get Fairington Elementary School back in order.
 
The fire broke out Saturday and the damage was extensive. There were charred desks, burned up books and a stack of melted chairs.
 
Investigators believe the fire was the work of an arsonist.
 
Students are currently reporting to Miller Grove High School for class until their school is safe for them to return.
 
There are 100 to 150 workers assigned to the cleanup job. They're hoping to finish up within the next 48 to 72 hours.
 
Authorities are working to find the arsonist.
