VIDEO: Georgia police officer saves choking infant’s life

COWETA COUNTY, Ga. — A local police officer saved an infant’s life after performing CPR.

Authorities said on Dec. 19, Senoia police officers received reports of a choking infant at a home on South Ridge Drive.

Body camera obtained by Channel 2 Action News from the Senoia Police Department showed Officer Alexis Callaway rescuing the baby by performing CPR.

TRENDING STORIES:

Officers confirmed that after the CPR, the baby started to breathe and was OK.

It is unclear what caused the infant to choke.
