NEWNAN, Ga. — Newnan police have “arrested” the Grinch after they caught the Vile One himself trying to break into cars on Black Friday.

The department posted a lineup photo of the King of Sinful Sots decked out in a Santa suit and looking as cuddly as a cactus for his mug shot.
“The Grinch was prowling parking lots and found an unsecure vehicle with holiday packages inside,” the department wrote on Facebook.

Newnan police are using the “arrest” as a reminder to not leave valuables in your car, especially in plain sight.

“The guy pictured below is just looking to ruin your holiday,” police said. “Not on our watch, Mr. Grinch, not on our watch.”
