A celery recall that's affected a number of states in the west, now includes Georgia.
The recall started with a chicken salad sold at Costco, but now celery and celery products from one California farm are off the shelves.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention identified a celery blend to be a likely cause of an E. coli outbreak that sickened 19 people in seven states, including Washington. Health officials tested the celery and onion diced blend produced by Taylor Farms Pacific Inc. that was used in the Costco Rotisserie Chicken Salad, which was linked to the E. coli outbreak.
The recall affects food sold at nearly a dozen stores, including Costco, 7-Eleven, Target, Walmart and Starbucks.
In Georgia, the recall only affects CST Celery Sticks 4'' 8/5 bag sold at Costco with a use by date between Nov.20 and Dec. 8.
