Coronavirus in Georgia: 620 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 25 deaths

GEORGIA — There are now 620 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Georgia and 25 deaths, as of 7 p.m. Sunday. That is up from 600 cases and 23 deaths as of 12 p.m. Sunday.

TThe Department of Public Health now updates the number of cases twice a day, at noon and 7 p.m. as the number of tests increases.

The Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency said earlier Sunday that of the people who have died, 19 had underlying health conditions. The median age of the deaths was 67.
