COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A woman told Channel 2 Action News she is scared because thieves have her purse with her ID, address and keys. They stole it, along with her car, from a Cobb County gas station last Thursday.

On Feb. 21, Tynice Shahid said her car was stolen at the RaceTrac on South Cobb Drive while she was pumping gas. It happened around 9 p.m., and Shahid told Channel 2's Kristen Holloway the crime happened so fast.

“I was pumping the gas and I realized I need something out of the store, so I went into the store, and when I came out of the store, two minutes later, my car was gone,” Shahid said.

“They took off when the gas pump (was) still in the car,” Shahid said.

A surveillance picture shows a man getting out of a silver Jeep before taking off in Shahid's red Nissan Altima.

Shahid said she left the keys in the middle console.

“It had my driver’s license, my debit card, my work ID, my work keys,” Shahid said.
