Cobb County Sheriff’s Office says the latest drug known as Purple Heroin — or Rainbow Fentanyl — has been spreading through the county in recent months.
Rainbow fentanyl consists of pills and powders that come in an array of bright colors, shapes and sizes, resembling sidewalk chalk.
The DEA says it’s an effort by drug traffickers to promote drug addiction among the youth.
