COBB COUNTY, Ga. — The GBI has secured murder warrants for a man in connection to the deaths of two teenagers in rural Georgia last month.
Daniel Payton Brinson, 22, was arrested April 26 in Marietta on felony drug charges.

On April 23, Destiny Hope Kight, 18, and Charlie Jaylon Garrett, 18, were found shot to death at a home in Wrightsville, Georgia.
Investigators said Brinson was a known associate of Garrett’s and will be charged with two counts of malice murder.

Brinson is currently being held at the Cobb County Jail. He is from Harrison, Ga.
Investigators have not revealed a motive in the murders.
