COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Cobb County police arrested longtime Atlanta news anchor Amanda Davis earlier this week after pulling her over for an expired tag.
Davis was charged with driving on a suspended license.
In an interview with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Davis said her own lack of oversight led to her arrest.
Davis said she didn’t realize she had to go to driver services to have her license reinstated.
Following a DUI arrest last year, she was given a limited license for 120 days.
She said she thought it was automatic and she could drive again.
