COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A traffic stop on Interstate 75 led the Georgia State Patrol to a man accused of killing someone in Tennessee.

GSP was notified Wednesday that Anthony Rumbel, 21, of Tennessee, was believed to be traveling south on I-75 in Cobb County in a black Toyota Tundra.
A trooper spotted the truck near Chastain Road after seeing it speeding and weaving through traffic.
The trooper tried to pull Anthony Rumbel over, but authorities said he refused to stop, leading to a chase.
The trooper eventually used a Precision Immobilization Technique, or PIT maneuver, to stop the truck. Rumbel was taken into custody.
Troopers searching the truck found evidence they believe is connected to a homicide investigation in Tennessee.

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, agents began investigating the death of 47-year-old Michael Rumbel on Wednesday after being asked to assist by the 12th Judicial District Attorney General’s Office.
Investigators said Michael Rumbel was found dead in the 100 block of Green Forest Road in Dunlap, Tennessee.
TBI agents identified Anthony Rumbel as the person responsible for his death and obtained an arrest warrant charging him with criminal homicide.
Rumbel was initially booked into the Cobb County Jail on charges related to the chase. He remained in custody Thursday pending extradition to Tennessee.
