Christopher Clark, 28, of Riverdale, pleaded guilty Wednesday to trafficking a person for sexual servitude, rape and false imprisonment, according to Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr’s office.
A judge sentenced Clark to 20 years in prison followed by life on probation. He must also register as a sex offender.
The case dates back several years and was reopened by the Attorney General’s Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit after it was initially closed by local jurisdictions.
Investigators were trying to identify a trafficker who, according to the AGO’s office, solicited the teenage victim, forcibly raped her and held her against her will inside his home for an extended period.
The victim had previously given law enforcement a description of the man’s tattoo.

Investigators used those details to create a sketch and issued a Crime Stoppers alert featuring a man with a distinctive “Florida Boy” tattoo across his chest.
That clue ultimately helped investigators identify and locate Clark.
Clark is the fifth person convicted in connection with the trafficking of the 15-year-old victim, according to the Attorney General’s Office.
“What started with a sketch of a trafficker’s tattoo resulted in a conviction, a lengthy sentence, and justice for this survivor,” Carr said.
Carr’s office said the Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit continued investigating the case even after securing convictions against four other people involved.
Those defendants include:
- Theodore Browne Jr., who was convicted in March 2023 of four counts of trafficking a person for sexual servitude and cruelty to children. He was sentenced to 70 years in prison.
- Daniel Horne, who was convicted in February 2023 of trafficking a person for sexual servitude. He was sentenced to 12 years, with two years in prison and the remainder on strict probation.
- Gregory Benoit, who was convicted in August 2022 of trafficking a person for sexual servitude. He was sentenced to 15 years, including five years in prison followed by strict probation.
- Christopher Weldon, who was convicted in July 2022 of trafficking a person for sexual servitude and statutory rape. He was sentenced to 25 years, with 15 years in prison followed by strict probation.
