CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — A portion of Interstate 675 has reopened in Clayton County after all lanes were closed due to an SUV fire on Tuesday afternoon.
Georgia Department of Transportation cameras in the area showed traffic at a standstill.
Just before 5 p.m., Triple Team Traffic said lanes on I-675 southbound at Anvil Block Road were closed.
Clayton County fire officials said an SUV became fully engulfed in flames.
Drivers are encouraged to use Highway 42 or Interstate 75 southbound to get around.
Significant delays are expected while crews work to clear the scene and safely reopen the roadway.
Fire officials said no injuries have been reported.
