NEW YORK — Following 9/11, Channel 2 Consumer Advisory Clark Howard felt compelled to go to New York and Ground Zero to help listeners of WSB Radio and his nationally syndicated show make sense of what was happening in the aftermath of the tragedy.

“There was soot everywhere and that debris, that awful debris had a just horrific smell,” Clark said.
Now, 25 years later, Clark said he has seen many signs of New York’s resilience.
“There’s new housing all around, vitality all around. Every time I’m down here, there are tourists all over, and it’s just so great to see the human spirit.”
