According to Cherokee County Schools, all graduating students will be seated in a specifically marked area and socially distanced from each other. Guests will be seated by ushers and will not have a choice as to their seating location. Guests will also be unable to stand in the aisles or approach the stage to take photographs. Guests are asked to not congregate in the church lobby, hallways or parking lot before or after their respective ceremony.
In addition, the school district has mandated all staff be required to wear face masks while at the ceremonies, and are strongly encouraging all graduates and their guests to wear them before, during and after the event.
The City of Woodstock Police Department will have officers in the area, and issued an advisory for residents or motorists in the area of the Church on Highway 92. They added that areas near Trickum and Neese Roads should also be on the lookout for heavy traffic and possible delays an hour before and after each of the scheduled events.
