Family members previously said they were concerned that Jones may be with someone whom she met online. The sheriff’s office said the family moved to Carrollton from Florida a year ago.

They say that she has since been found and reunited with her family.

Deputies said they spent months following up on leads that did not pan out, but they are “grateful” she was found.
