DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A car crashed into a Kroger in Decatur on Wednesday, and multiple emergency vehicles responded to the scene.
DeKalb County police confirmed that one person was killed and two more were seriously injured.
They say a driver crashed into a parked car, which sent it up onto and sidewalk and crashing into someone walking there.
The car stopped after hitting the building.

NewsChopper 2 flew over the large scene and saw the damage caused by the cars.
Police say the driver of the parked car died at the scene. The person on the sidewalk and the initial driver were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The name of the person who died has not been released.
