Brookhaven police find 3 stolen luxury cars worth $400K behind Buford Highway motel

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Some Brookhaven officers made a huge find, worth nearly $400,000.

The police department posted on Facebook that its officers were on the look out for some stolen luxury cars from a Texas car dealership.

A short time later, officers came across the Rolls Royce, along with two Maseratis, behind a Buford Highway motel. After finding the cars, officers then surveilled the cars and later arrested three men:

  • 31-year-old Yves M. Amakon of Snellville, GA
  • 30-year-old Lester R. Price, Jr. of Houston, TX
  • 24-year-old Julian Callahan of Katy, TX

They were charged with theft by receiving stolen property.

The cars will later be returned to their owners in Texas.
