ATLANTA — Atlanta police are trying to figure out what sparked a shooting that sent two people to the hospital early Thursday morning.

Police were called out to the 2400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW just after 5:30 a.m. for a report of two people shot. The address is the parking lot of a Chevron gas station at the intersection of MLK and Peyton Road.
Police said the other victim was in stable condition and was also transported to Grady.
Police told Channel 2 Action News reporter Kristen Holloway one man was found in an SUV parked in the lot with a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to Grady Hospital in critical condition.

Atlanta police don’t have any description on potential suspects at this time as the investigation continues.
