BARROW COUNTY, Ga. — Part of Highway 316 in Barrow County was shut down Wednesday after a wreck between a box truck and a tractor-trailer.
The crash was reported shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Highway 316 and Highway 81.
The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office said the box truck hit the rear end of the tractor-trailer.
NewsChopper 2 flew over the wreck and found that most of the cabin of the box truck had been crushed in the crash.
The Sheriff’s Office said the driver of the box truck was airlifted to a nearby hospital, but did not release the driver’s condition.
