No bond for teens accused of sexual assault behind church

None — Two high school students accused of sexually attacking a classmate behind a church will not be getting out of jail -- for now.

Seventeen-year-old Lovejoy High School student Cassius Williams and 17-year-old Xavier Hutchinson face aggravated sodomy charges.

According to criminal warrants filed by a Clayton County Sheriff's Office investigator, the pair sexually attacked a 16-year-old Lovejoy student behind a church just yards away from the campus.

The warrants say Hutchinson and Williams wrestled the girl the ground to the ground behind the Lovejoy Family Church, held her wrists and neck and attacked her.

The students said little during their first appearance hearing and learned they'd have to stay behind bars.

"No bond has been set at this time as we're not allowed to set a bond by law," Clayton County Magistrate Court Judge Beatriz Scott told each teen.

Relatives of the suspects refused to comment after court.
