SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Channel 2 Action News has learned that a body guard for singer Justin Bieber took a photographer's camera and drove off.
Sandy Springs police confirm to Channel 2 Action News that photographers were waiting for Bieber outside the Sandy Springs Funhouse and one of Bieber's body guards took the camera from the photographer and then took off with a driver in an Escalade.
"The security guard and driver followed and then stopped the photographer's car in an adjacent parking lot," said Capt. Steve Rose with Sandy Springs police in an emailed statement. "The security guard took the camera from the photographer's car and both men left and drove to the home Bieber is renting."
An officer stopped the SUV as it pulled in the driveway and saw the camera while interviewing the occupants, Rose said. The bodyguard and driver were both arrested and the camera was recovered, police said.
The two were being booked into the Fulton County jail late Tuesday.
