K9 Delta, on the first full shift with the department’s new Crime Suppression Unit, alerted officers to the presence of narcotics during a traffic stop.
Officers found 25.5 grams of crack cocaine. The driver also had a Schedule II drug, police said.
All in all, Cartersville PD said the drug seizure was just short of a trafficking amount of crack cocaine.
